sim
Teruyuki Oshima: guitar
Yoshio Ootani: computer, electronics, synthesizer
Masahiro Uemura: drums
Sim was formed by Teruyuki Oshima with the core concept of relationships between sounds (gaps, dislocation, fluctuation, etc.). Aiming for new ensemble band territory through Oshima's tight-knit compositions, they play in live performances with a combination of intense sound pressure and individual dynamism. In 2005 the group released its first album, Sim (Weather/Headz). Common Difference (MIDI Creative), featuring vocalist Moe Kamura, came out in '06, and Monte Alto Estate (doubtmusic), a collaboration with Otomo Yoshihide, was released in '09.
