Born in 1980. Kawaguchi creates live performances and installations in which he organizes space mainly through the use of sound-producing objects, various forms of light, and everyday items. He has released over 15 recordings on labels including hibari music, Erstwhile Records, Senufo Editions, Balloon & Needle, and Pilgrim Talk. In addition to his solo activities, he has participated in numerous bands. In recent years he has mainly been presenting performances/exhibitions at galleries and festivals in Japan and overseas with The Great Triangle, his project with Makoto Oshiro and Satoshi Yashiro.
