Hikaru Yamada

Born in 1988. Alto sax player. Yamada's sax playing makes extensive use of circular breathing and preparations. He also creates music through the use of sampling. In addition to his own projects "hikaru yamada and the librarians" and "feather shuttles forever," Yamada has participated in albums by Yo Irie, Kedama, Kenta Maeno, SNJO, VOLOJZA, South Penguin, NNMIE Band and others, as well as in the soundtracks of the films Dear Deer (2015) and Uma no Hone (2018), both with music by Takuro Okada. In 2019 he started writing articles for the magazines ele-king and Music Magazine. His regular job is creating sound effects and composing music for a game development company.
