BusRatch was launched in 1998 as an experimental DJ group performing improvised music on 8 turntables simultaneously. Today, BusRatch is the duo project of Katsura Mori and Takahiro Yamamoto. In addition to using turntable only, they "play back" on the turntable a variety of items including prepared records, cymbals, metal objects, and mouse pads; and construct sound improvisationally by amplifying sounds made with the cartridge and arm.
